A new vendor registry allows companies with educational technology software applications to log them directly into school district databases. EDTECHdocs.info now links the information provided by the vendor with the education agency’s own data governance software. For the schools, when a procurement is needed, searching and finding potential software applications and companies to invite to bid is as simple as running a local report. The schools can also perform essential data governance tasks such as maintaining an inventory of all applications and their documentation by just clicking on the information already provided by the vendors.
Vendors can tag their products and company to facilitate searches by agencies. Links to user guides, FAQs, websites, and other resources can be added to support customers.
EDTECHdocs.info is a companion site to ARNIEdocs.info, a service for research, evaluation, and assessment professional. With both, experts can upload white papers to be searchable and downloadable by a network of public school technology, administration, instructional, information, research, evaluation, and assessment professionals.
